  Clare and Kristin looked after our recent evening dinner event superbly… They demonstrated what amazing food you can create if you follow sustainable and healthy principles.
  
  Service was excellent and portions more than adequate to feed an army. Kristin's explaination of their philosophy and approach was great.
  
  Highly recommend.

  This is such a wonderful space - I am hugely impressed with the work that has been done here. The food in the cafe is beautiful and all local: delicious brunch options and cakes. The setting makes it a really relaxing spot for meeting up with a friend. I would definitely recommend - it’s like a sanctuary in the city.

  A little slice of heaven in the city. Just the walk into the café is so peaceful and enjoyable. Sustainable food served in stunning surroundings with exceptional staff. You really can't go wrong. Prices slightly on the higher side but it is worth every cent and some! You can feel the love and care that goes into this place. My top space in the city. Just go there!

  Lovely cafe in beautiful surroundings. Just a few small things:
  1. the signposting to the whole complex is very poor. As South Pres is quite a long building, I walked up and down Douglas Street in the pouring rain looking for the 'official' entrance. Also the Cafe is a long way from the front door and there are lots of steps there. For anybody with mobility issues, you need to be aware.
  2. I was there at 12.25 and wanted lunch. Well, there was such a fuss over the fact that 'Lunch didn't start until 12.30 so the breakfast menu is the only one you can order from at the moment!'. I pointed out that it was only 5 minutes to go but they wouldn't take a lunch order. I had to either order from the Breakfast menu or else they would come back to me after 12.30. How bizarre!
  3. Plates were removed at indecent haste. We were chatting and had finished the main portion of the plate but there were pieces of salad still to be consumed when the waiter/waitress tried once successfully to whip a plate away and failed on the next try!
  
  Just a little more attention to Customer Service and these little things that make all the difference will serve this cafe well for future success.

  Absolutly fantastic, beautiful location in a walled garden separation you from the centre of town. The team were extreamly welcoming, service was fast and breakfast was perfect.
  
  Cannot recommend highly enough and looking forward to my next trip to Cork so I can visit :D
